Introducing...
In the past few months there have been sone changes in the personnel performing
the maintenance work here at Verde Shores. Hal and I are so-o-o pleased
to let you know we now have someone to be here after hours for our maintenance
emergencies. His name is Brandon Crichton - he now resides in the park
at 559 Channel Way. You may reach him at 326-4319 (this is a new number).
Brandon has moved here with his family which includes Lilly and their
newborn son, Brandon Jr. Please stop by and introduce yourself when
you can. Also - Mike Maggard has been promoted to Maintenance Supervisor.
He's doing a wonderful job and is someone I can really depend on. Recently
Loyd Hasty came to us from Oklahoma - he lives with his family in Mohave
Valley - a very hard worker. Mark Tomlinson is with us as well and has
brought along his experience maintaining golf course landscaping. We
appreciate so much the wonderful job these men are doing to maintain
the reputation our park has as the most lovely on the Colorado River.

Summer's Here...
Comments of appreication continue to come in from our residents for the adherence
to our new rules and regs regarding accompanied guests. Thanks so much
- it has made a noticable difference and caused the park to be more enjoyable
for those that live here. With that in mind - you have probably noticed
by now that we have dredged our harbor area thereby making our dock and
launch ramp more usable. The area right of the dock is slightly more
narrow - our suggestion is that these of you with wave runners use the
right side for docking. Also - there are two orange buoys at the end
of the dock - This space is reserved for short term - loading & unloading
only. Use of the dock is on a first come basis - you may not reserve
areas for use with buoys. Additionally - as a matter of courtesy and
in the interest of safety - it is requested not to beach your boat or
wave runners in the swimming area of the beach. This courtesy has been
especially appreciated.
Lost & Found
We have found a snall case with serveral CD's inside which probably fell from
someone's car - if you think this could be yours, please contact the office.

Dog - Gone It!
Please remember that all your dogs are to be on a leash when they are not in
your yard - big dogs, small dogs, sweet dogs, guest's dogs - any kind
of dog whether you think it will be gentle & loving to everyone or
not - must be on a leash!

Dad's Day!
Father Day was first observed on June 19th,
1910. The idea orginated with Mrs. John B. Dodd who wanted a special day to
honor her father, a Civil War veteran. Many cities celebrted Father's Day before
it was officially proclaimed to be observed on the third Sunday in June in
1966 by President Lyndon Johnson.
